Hybrid Battery Maintenance

1) When there is charging and discharging equipment, it is recommended to perform charging and discharging operations on the battery, which is suitable for general hybrid vehicle repair companies or large hybrid battery dealers.

I. Single Module 7.2V Maintenance Procedure:
Compatible With Car Model: Honda 1st Gen. Insight 2000-2006, Honda 1st Gen. Civic 2003-2005, Honda 1st Gen. Accord 2005-2007, Toyota 1st Gen. Prius 1997-2000, etc.

If the delivery time from us to your address is about 1 month, please recharge the battery within 2 months (total time 3 months) after you receive it, then assemble the battery pack and send it to the terminal customer for usage.

The suggested maintenance procedure is as follows:

1. The module shall be charged at a constant current of 6A for 15 minutes (25% SOC), the voltage limitation setting is 9.0V, stop charging if the module voltage limitation >9.0V, the module temperature limitation (T the highest) ≤ 42℃ when charging.
2. Rest 5 minutes;
3. The module shall be charged at a constant current of 1.2A for 30 minutes (10% SOC), the voltage limitation setting is 9.0V, stop charging if the module voltage limitation >9.0V, the module temperature limitation (T the highest) ≤ 42℃ when charging.
4. Rest 30 minutes;
5. Then the module shall be discharged at a constant current of 6A for 5 minutes(8% SOC), the voltage limitation setting is 7.5V, stop discharging if the module voltage limitation<7.5V, the module temperature limitation (T the highest) ≤ 42℃ when discharging.

Note: The temperature of a testing environment for the above operation: is 25 ℃±5 ℃（Must be done under ventilated conditions）; A whole battery pack needs to be finished and charged within one day or earlier.

II. 14.4V Module Maintenance Procedure:
Compatible With Car Model: Honda 1st Gen. FIT, Honda 2nd Gen. Accord 2010-2012, Honda 2nd Gen. Insight 2010-2012, Honda CR-Z 2011-2012, Honda 2nd Gen. Civic 2006-2011, Toyota 2nd Gen.PRIUS 2004-2009, Toyota 3rd Gen.Prius 2010-2014, Lexus CT200h, Toyota PRIUS Aqua/Prius C, Toyota Camry xv40  6th 2007-2011, Toyota Camry xv50  7th 2012-2016, Lexus es300h, Lexus GS450h, Lexus IS300h, Lexus NX300h, etc.

5. Then the module shall be discharged at a constant current of 6A for 5 minutes(8% SOC), the voltage limitation setting is 15.0V, stop discharging if the module voltage limitation <15.0V, the module temperature limitation (T the highest) ≤ 42℃ when discharging.

Compatible With Car Model: Lexus RX400h, Toyota Highlander 2006-2009, Lexus RX450h, etc.

The suggested maintenance procedure is as follows:

1. The module shall be charged at a constant current of 6A for 15 minutes (25% SOC), the volt voltage limitation setting is 24.0V, stop charging if the module voltage limitation >24.0V the module temperature limitation (T the highest) ≤ 42℃ when charging；
2.  Rest 5 minutes;
3. The module shall be charged at a constant current of 1.2A for 30 minutes (10% SOC), the voltage limitation setting is 24.0V, stop charging if the module voltage limitation >24.0V the module temperature limitation (T the highest) ≤ 42℃ when charging；
4. Rest 30 minutes;
5. Then the module shall be discharged at a constant current of 6A for 5 minutes(8% SOC), the voltage limitation setting is 20.0V, stop discharging if the module voltage limitation<20.0V, the module temperature limitation (T the highest) ≤ 42℃ when discharging；
